JP (2017, e.2020):
This was a bootmakers until 1925, when it became a chiropodist's (perhaps they were not very good bootmakers?). From 1930 until the 1970s it was a series of ladies' hairdressers; in the mid 1970s Don, a partner in Don & Ron Barbers in Balham, moved to the shop. When he retired it became part of the Oddbins chain, and more recently (before 2016) it was Spirited Wines, part of the Nicolas chain. Very recently it has changed into a dog grooming supplies shop.
