The Estate agents on the right here, no.34, was for many years Sherrard's, a specialist clock and watch shop. A friend remembers how, as a child, waiting with her mother at the bus stop, she would be fascinated by all the different types of clock in the window. I believe that a member of the Sherrard family still lives, or did so until recently, in Wiseton Rd.

[PB: I wonder if they have any photographs of the shop?]

Since then Rymer Irens has gone and been replaced by the Bonsai Cafe.
